RobQuant was honoured to help shape the conversation around the future of technology at IQT's inaugural Quantum+AI conference in New York. As a leading organisation for quantum technology events, IQT’s new summit brought together global pioneers to explore the critical intersection of quantum and artificial intelligence, and we were pleased to be invited to the main stage.
Our Chief Scientist, Dr Joe Smith, represented RobQuant and his research at The University of Sheffield, joining an expert panel to discuss the practical applications of quantum sensors and robotics.
The discussion, moderated by IQT’s president and leading industry analyst Lawrence Gasman, was a lively and insightful exchange. Dr Smith shared the stage with Dr Stefan Leichenauer, Vice President of Engineering and lead scientist at the influential SandboxAQ. Together, they explored practical applications for quantum sensors in demanding sectors like healthcare and aerospace, highlighting how robotics and AI are essential for deploying these technologies in the real world.
For RobQuant, sharing a platform with leaders from SandboxAQ and IQT was a significant moment. It reflects our place in the industry and our mission: to build robust, practical systems that advance quantum technology. The conversations and connections from the summit continue to inform our work on the convergence of quantum, AI and robotics.
