RobQuant has successfully completed its Innovate UK-funded project and now has a working quantum sensor demonstrator in the lab.

July 2026, Sheffield UK. We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the R&D project funded by our Innovate UK Growth Catalyst Early Stage: New Innovators grant, which we secured in November 2025.

The seven-month project has been a fantastic experience. Working with the support of Innovate UK allowed us to focus on the core technical challenges of our solid-state quantum sensor and make meaningful progress in a short timeframe. We are proud of what the team has achieved, and we now have a working demonstrator up and running in the lab.

We are grateful to Innovate UK and UKRI for their support. The Growth Catalyst programme gave us the funding and structure to de-risk a critical stage of our development, and we would encourage other early-stage deep-tech companies to explore what Innovate UK has to offer.
